Good Things Come to Brands That Give

While this BrandWeek article may be a little off our typical "beat", it is still very relevant to all retailers. The article covers a recent survey by the Natural Marketing Institute, which found that 57% of consumers feel more loyal to companies that are socially responsible and about half (52%) were more likely to talk to their friends and families about such mindful corporations. An important fact to remember is that, as the study showed, many companies that do good, do a bad job of promoting the fact.
